How often should you change your motorcycle oil?

As a general rule, engine oil should be changed every 3700 miles or so, as great demands are made of it. However, depending on your driving style, you may have to change it more or less often.

If you are riding a dirt bike:

As a general rule should be done every five to 10 hours of riding but check the owner's manual.

To get the most out our your ATV or Side x Side, change out the oil and oil filter at regular intervals. It’s generally best to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. If you subject your machine to extreme riding conditions, you might want to change it out more frequently than what the manufacturer suggests.
